You are correct, he has been going after them ever since the election, but up until today it had mostly just been our (meaning the United States) dirty laundry. He just took things to a whole new level.

There is still a part of me that thinks he will serve his full term and then either step down or lose his reelection bid, but you never know. Today pissed a lot of Republicans off. If there is an impeachable offence brought forth, maybe they would actually go through with it.

Of course, if the Dems win back the House or Senate in November all we will hear about is impeachment until it either happens or it becomes 2020.
