Either try to wait it out or go the MEGA route like I did if you really want to drive. The money is there, but make sure to understand OTR driving is a shitty life if you aren't ok with it. Meaning make sure you are ok with being away from home and not having much personal life if any while you are doing it.
Something you might look into, depending on where you are located is delivering Amazon packages. I've heard both good and bad about them so I'm not sure if it's a good option, but might be something to look at.
Whatever you do, don't go the route of getting financing via the truck driving school. You might however look into your local community colleges as sometimes they have CDL training that is very cheap.
