I wasn't a huge fan of Obama to start with. With every election I pick what I think is the better of the two candidates. I honestly didn't think McCain would live out the next eight years at the time and couldn't see Palin in the number two slot, and then with Romney... I couldn't vote for someone who spent his entire life using others people money to rape and destroy distressed companies. Thus I voted for Obama. Twice.
The end result is the man took us from 12% unemployment, and in eight years we had 4%. I don't care which site of the fence you sit on in American politics, but that's damn impressive.
