I hate to say this but.... She came to the United States illegally, and never became a US citizen. I hate to see families torn apart like this, but you cannot come to the United States illegally, start a family, start a business, and expect to be allowed to break the law on a daily basis.
It's like that women who was pulled over by campus police in Georgia a few years back Their entire family broke the law on a daily basis, and did so for years. You cannot really expect compassion when you willingly violated our laws for years.
