I think some people are like that. They have to be the center of attention at all times. Bladewire is famous for the fake nic accusations / constantly bumping his own threads.
I've come to the conclusion that there is something mentally wrong with him.
As far as the XBix show in LA. Perhaps Bladewire doesn't live in California at all. Nobody here has ever seen a photo of anything he says.

myself that post up to date / Real time photographs. I can go outside right now and snap photos of Princeton University without hesitation as I have done twice prior.
If there was a XBiz or AVN show in close proximity to me, I would certainly attend. I think it would be cool meeting the people you chat with.
Then again, some like to talk a big game when in reality, they truly have nothing.
