They had a story online recently about British folks and dentists. 50%+ of Brits don’t go to a dentist and they think it’s closer to 70%. I wanted to ask here why y’all avoid the dentist but forgot.
It was on a Netflix show with Dr Christian ....... Embarrassing Bodies. One woman had horrible teeth and needed extractions and implants. Another was a heavy smoker whose teeth were all dark brown. Caps gave her white teeth but she had to quit smoking.
Made me curious why dentists are avoided. Older, painful instruments? Bad Novocain? High prices? No dental insurance? It can’t be that so many fear the dentist or just don’t care. They rave about NHS paying for their medical needs. Don’t they consider dental care a necessity?
A friend from Philadelphia moved to England after meeting Mister Right on one of my websites. She never has anything good to say about being there. Left her husband after twelve years to his Filipino girlfriend and is back in Philadelphia. Her stories are scary and nasty and brutal. Made me wonder if it’s her attracting bad situations or the country itself. Is she in a dodgy area or does a fat, American blonde cause havoc in England?
