I'm not shocked. His approval rating hasn't budged during all of this. His base still loves him. Personally, I see a long road to impeachment. I have said a number of times I don't think he will end up impeached or, even if he is, I don't think he will be found guilty and could survive it, like Clinton did. However, it won't shock me if he steps down, especially towards the end of his term, and I won't even be shocked if he ends up being challenged in the primaries and loses.
