It looks like she was trying to get around the law, but it sounds like the law is stupid. It says they passed a law legalizing recreational weed two years ago and there are still no businesses able to sell it.
It's insane to me that the police would spend the manpower and money to set up a sting and now the DA's office and the city council are involved all over a little weed.
