Once again we have fake news.
The group involved is the Ripon Young Americans for Freedom, which is exactly what you think it is. It turns out in 2017 they had this "event" and there was a lot of complaints about it. There is a huge difference between remembering 9/11 and bashing Muslims. In 2017 this group made violent and gore filled posters that had nothing to do with 9/11 and everything to do with displaying Muslims as murders and terrorists.
A statement form the college says:
“There has been much misinformation posted related to a recent discussion between Ripon College officials and student members of the Ripon College Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) chapter. The YAF posters are not, and have never been, banned.”
This is what I love about the Internet. The truth is out there if you are willing to search for it.

hardly fake news. unless you get your news from GFY and think this thread is a news outlet.
the fact is there was an issue and there are two sides to it, it simply took a moment to get the facts sorted out.
and the Washington Examiner has been around for decades.
