The bluff might work, but unfortunately, it seems that the companies running the affiliate programs are complacent and don't take notice to things like this. Wish they did.
OP: If you do this and it does work, let me know. I actually want to compile a list of traffic companies / affiliate programs who are responsive to things like this. Make it easier for people to know whether or not they can get leverage with sponsors or not.
