Bad business practice to close inactive affiliate accounts?
I notice a number of programs that I sign up with close inactive accounts that do not produce traffic immediately or within months. I understand it's better to clean things up and sort out the active affiliates from the non active.
But...
I've signed up with programs that have closed my account due to inactivity when I come back to start promoting them. I like to have options and when I get around to a specific niche I can look in my affiliate site list and start promoting ones that fit the mold.
Not bashing these programs I understand wanting to get results from affiliates right off the bat. Just seems like a missed opportunity to keep potential high earning affiliates that maybe haven't decided to promote that niche right that instant.
