You can't touch it, you can't see it, you can't feel it... But... We are expected to just accept that it is there, and to spend our entire lives, living by it and following it blindly, at all times...
That kinda sounds like a religion to me. A bit like Jesus... Or Mohammed, or Buddha or whatever flavour God you have chosen.... But while you don't HAVE to believe in a God - You DO have to follow the law. Yet they are both clearly similar things...
I suggest that there is no such thing as ANY actual 'LAWS'... But that they are merely a set of guidelines, set out for the stupid people to follow, because they can't be trusted to deal with the circumstances of their own mistakes... Again, just like religion...
So, I ask you? Do Laws actually exist? Discuss...
& oh yeah... Poo... Gotta mention poo...

This is just some dumb shit, but I'll play along.
If there was no law that says you need to stop at a red light, what do you think would happen?
You see that guy at the local pub who doesn't like your face? He doesn't hit you over the head with a pipe because of laws.
This reminds me of the opening bit in one of my favorite comedy albums. Lenny Bruce talks about exactly what your question is bringing up. Listen to the first 10 minutes.
