Do you Americans really want to give a lifetime appointment to somebody who was just one of the guys or someone who was making the correct moral judgements all their life. It doesn't mean they're a prude, they still went to the party, maybe even picked up a girl, but they said" do you mind if I kiss you, I find you beautiful"... not threw them on the bed and grabbed them by the pussy. The people I know from school with the highest character.. were like it all their lives, if they were a fucking jerk in school, there still jerks now.
And sure some people change, but the fact they have changed would be reason enough to deny a lifetime appointment. You want someone whose been stable their whole lives, when considering a lifetime appointment, you want the most exceptional of the exceptional and with a population of 300 million +.. their out there.
Guilty or not Kavanaugh can not continue with this shadow of doubt over his head, and yep Dems pulled one on you, but you can't continue until this is fully looked at, for the sake of Kavanaugh, for the sake of justice and for the sake of the country.
Its not something you rush through because you know your going to be kicked out of a job in 2 months.
