Personally, I don't care. It would be different if there was proof, evidence, witnesses or some sort of fact pattern to give it credibility.
Not talking politics or Supreme Court nominees now...
I mean I just don't care about a woman who materializes with some sort of vague complaint and life destroying accusation at a career ending moment and one of national importance with a kinda, sorta possible assault that by her own account, describes nothing serious at all by her own words and fingers a sole witness that says it didn't happen.
It's like Bill Cosby to me. Of course it seems he did some horrible shit. But the first couple complaints were from young girls, at the playboy mansion, drinking and willingly in a celebrities bed - tryin to say 50 years later that they didn't consent or whatever. Obviously rape is not ok. But at the same time, young girls, partying with celebs at the playboy mansion in 1975 weren't there for bible study.
I hate that people can even decades later, destroy someones life and career with vague and unsubstantiated claims. Some of that to me is the victims fault. IF you get hit by a car, it doesn't look good for you to come forward 35 years later pointing fingers and making unsupported claims - particularly when you didn't' feel that way when it happened.
I'm also deeply tired of the constant feigned moral outrage.
