Wow that is fucked up. Sorry to hear that this happened near you.

I ended up in downtown Montreal one day and didn't know a gay pride parade was happening so I was kind of stuck watching it. I don't usually even like parades but this one was great. Fun, colorful, great music and hot chicks! What was cool though was that there were lots and lots of straight couples, elderly couples, etc, and alot of people brought their kids.

The cops that were there seemed to be enjoying the party too. The mayor was there and of course the local news covered it. There were a few celebs I heard but I didn't see them.

It's just a parade. Hopefully cities will relax enough to let everyone enjoy it, and the trouble makers were stay away.
