Thats not true at all.
Feinstein had the "letter" for 7 weeks and only waited until just before Kavanaugh was to be confirmed before going public in an attempt to delay/derail the process.
No one is "erring on the side of caution". The woman herself came forward, teamed up with a Senator, hired a high power legal team... make a very dubious allegation which was 100% unsubstantiated or uncorroborated and then continually derailed any attempt to get her to testify.... started going to the media etc etc etc etc. Further, she cited 4 witnesses to her claim all of which have already said they have no clue what she's talking about or even who she or Kavanaugh is.
You don't have to "hate women" to have a problem with how this was handled and how this looks and to be extremely skeptical given the timing, circumstances and vague nature of her claims.
You don't have to be a misogynist to be a little concerned that some woman can say 36 years later "this underage minor did this thing" and see him instantly convicted in the media and by the Left.
It's no less reasonable for someone to be about about politicians weaponizing of a far left leaning attorney teaming up with a far left leaning Senator it to derail a SCOTUS nominee which is EXACTLY what they did than it is to presume she might be telling the truth.
