Nothing has been proven. Some statements have been made, stories have changed, but nobody has spoken under oath or during an official investigation.
As I have said before, I tend to believe that in most situations the simplest answer is likely the correct one.
So, we have to ask ourselves, which is more likely:
Is it more likely that Ford several years ago began a process to make up allegations against him, convince herself that she believes them to the point she can pass a polygraph, make sure there is a record of it with a therapist, and put all of this into motion solely for the purpose of detailing a Kavanaugh appointment should one ever actually happen.
Or
Is it more likely that a dude who drank and partied so much in high school his best friend wrote a book about how much they drank and how often they blacked out got drunk, held a girl down and tried to take her clothes off at a party.
Add into this a former GOP congressional candidate during an interview said "“We’re talking about a 17-year-old boy in high school, with testosterone running high,” said Sosa. “Tell me, what boy hasn’t done this in high school? Please, I would like to know.”
As for people stopping her from being heard, there have been death threats against her, hell, you and all the Trumpholes on this board are saying she a piece of shit and they should move on without hearing her. Many Republicans don't think she should testify. I can understand why she was hesitant.
In the end, I think there is some truth to the story and I think she should be able to tell that story to the committee.
