There is fiber in bread as well but it still makes you fat...regardless of the fiber you are still introducing unnecessary fructose in to your diet...
The slowing down of absorption 4x is just not true...an apple has 2 grams of fiber but 16g of just fructose...it MAY slow down absorption a bit but 4x is just not true...pizza has the same fiber per 100g...so does pasta...it all makes you fat...
