An apple is loaded with fiber

I repeat, an apple, has 2g of fiber per 100g...you can try and make this number look bigger how ever you wish, 2% is 2%...
2% of an inactive substance can not slow down the processing of the remaining 98% by 4x...it does not work that way....it does not magically cover the 98%...
pizza has the same dietary fiber % as an apple...so does bread...
