Thats the problem OP, very few people want kids nowadays...like you for example...you will have 1 or 2 max or you already have and you will see that a 3rd is a pain in the ass...
Just 1-2 kids does not cut it...you need to make up for the ones who have no kids, and 1-2kids leads to a decline...3 probably gives you status quo...1 of those 3 probably wont have kids...
So in short, you need to pump out 4-5 to make a dent...not just you but 100.000s of your countrymen...
