If I understand correctly, it's the President's office who picks the nominees. It shouldn't work that way. It should be Congress - both sides - making a short list of people that they ALL agree on, and then having the President pick from that list.
Also, I am hearing a lot of discussions about term limits for Supreme Court Justices. I agree with this. At a certain point of time people at the highest levels of government are out of touch with the American Public. Hillary Clinton said during her campaign that she hadn't driven a car in thirty years - she gets driven by her security team. I'm sorry, but if you cannot hop into your car and drive around the corner to your local yogurt place with your kid you shouldn't be running the country or making judgement on laws on average citizens. These people - which is nearly everyone in Congress - are completely out of touch with what the average American goes through.

By the president's own admission he can not see it from the victim's (Ford) point of view. He' views the accusations differently than the rest of us. His words. He cannot be unbiased and should be removed from any decisions.
