You know what was very telling of his guilt? The fact that he hadn't watched Ford's testimony. If you were innocent of this accusation, wouldn't you want to listen to what the accuser had to say to figure out how she mixed you up with someone else?
If he had done the assault, he'd most likely not want to listen. Let's say that from that point in his life onward, he's been a stellar human being and treats women with respect. It would be painful to listen to a woman give tearful testimony about how he sexually assaulted her.
