I watched until 2:00 then had a doctor appointment. She was credible, seemingly honest and had patience. I know from personal experience you don't always remember every detail of a horrific trauma. She has nothing to gain but a lot to lose. She and her husband and kids had to move. Her parents had to move. If he's appointed, she's going to be looked at as a liar.

Anita Hill was credible yet Thomas was elected.

The thing is that he may have been a drunk molestor at 16 and then grew up and became a decent, moral citizen. Should he be given a chance to prove he's changed or do we judge him on three known mistakes thirty-five years ago? Maybe there are others ..

Or, do we believe people don't change and he's still immoral? Do we forgive drunk actions or do we disbelieve women too embarrassed to report sexual assault?

This isn't simple. Some people want him prosecuted for sexual abuse and underaged drinking. Imagine if he's headed to jail instead of the Supreme Court ...
