I could see that someone who is an avid Trump supporter could see it that way. For me though, I just saw her reporting on the Investigation. And when she had the author of the investigation on for the interview, the very first thing Maddow said was "Did I get this right?". This is something that Rachel maddow does all the time to make sure she doesn't make a mistake.

Yes of course. It was alot of hype about nothing. That mistep doesn't necessarily mean that she is wrong this time. You could say it placed a slight dent in her credibility, but it was probably just more embarrassing than anything else.

Well, wait a sec, lets talk about this. When Obama was president (that good old days as I like to call them), "They" was Fox News. I saw them inflate the tea party protests, show video out of context, and all kinds of things. If today, "They" is MSNBC or CNN, I do not see them doing this to Trump.
There are real questions about Trump's Tax returns which he never showed. He demanded that Obama show his birth certificate. Why won't Trump show his tax returns?

True, but legally, this was assault. And he wasn't charged for it, just questioned. But there is more to this.
Kavanaugh is not on trial for what he may have done when he was a kid. He he was a drunken frat boy, who cares? No one really. He he assaulted some women that's terrible of course, but he's not "on trial" for that. If the assault happened, Congress has another 40 or so judges they can nominate. It appears though that Trump wants Kavanaugh in because he believes that a sitting president can't be convicted of any crimes, and the GOP want him because they believe he will overturn abortion rights.
(On a side note, do you think women should have the right to have an abortion? Just curious).

I don't remember this story or that name at all, but maybe it doesn't matter. Clinton was impeached for this after all, so "they" got him.

It's a long-shot maybe, but the question is "Would Trump refuse to give up power if he lost the election in 2020"?
This is really important because lets say Trump lost in 2020. He would have to give a concession speech to the winner. It is the concession speech that legitimizes the succession of the winner to the role as Commander in Chief. You *know* that Trump will struggle with this and even worse, he could try to delegitimize the election itself.

No that's incorrect. Personal tax forms are confidential. They can only be obtained if Trump himself gave the IRS permission to reveal the returns or if Congress’s Joint Committee on Taxation signed off to allow the disclosure. Trump has refused to give permission.
