You know, what Democrats are now doing in USA is exactly what RIGHT wing did in Croatia some years ago. Identical thing, same methods.
Chronologically, from few years ago:
- we had a LEFT government, pretty solid one, economy was growing, all was good, slow progress but progress none the less
- RIGHT opposition starts their fear mongering campaign, claiming that current (LEFT) government is "Pro-Serbian" and "working for Serbs"
- RIGHT mobilizes war veterans for gigantic "anti government" and "anti Serbia" protests (seriously, it was ridiculous, those veterans were protesting like crazy and they never even told anyone why and what, just "down with Serbian government in croatia")
- country got divided 50/50 to this date, half of people are shocked by idiotic "Serbian collusion" claim and other half is certain that the RIGHT is saving the country from Serbian rule
- RIGHT took over government in 2016
- 2016-2018 we now have some of the biggest corruption scandals since independence and it is fully visible that RIGHT took charge just for their own benefit and to get rich in the process
Now.. this isn't my opinion, this is political history of Croatia from aprox 2014 - 2018.
