In any life threatening situation our brain starts thinking more fast causing time to slow as perceived by us. Minutes become seconds, seconds become milliseconds, becomes microseconds, becomes nanoseconds and so on, your brain works on a nanosecond speed
If some infidel chops off your head, your brain will keep processing, in the seconds to minutes you have left.. your brain is capable of living several life times in thought during this time.
What your thoughts are at this time is totally dictated by how you've lead your life and if YOU have forgiven yourself for your sins, because if you haven't that's where you will spend your final seconds.. some call it hell.
