I've read they had three vehicles and two drivers or two vehicles and three drivers. Vehicles failed inspection yet they're still on the road. Why they failed I don't know yet . I haven't read stories tonight but am about to hit news sites.

One family wants to file lawsuits but claims the company is nearly broke because all income is funneled to Pakistan. They own vehicles that were chopped and spliced and welded. Yet in previous version they passed inspection.

I had no emergency brake in my first car but knew a guy .... Got my sticker easily. Whomever passed this glued vehicle better hide fast if he passed it in previous years.

In Massachusetts they used to do it manually. Now it's mostly computerized by hooking up to your tailpipes and analyzing exhaust. It was $2 every two years. Now it's $49 I believe every year. When it jumped to $4 everyone bitched.

When I lived in New Hampshire it wasn't mandatory. I had it done and I'll never forget it. The guy lifted the front of the car to check shocks and springs. Lifted by hand! Only a few inches and only a Toyota Corolla, but my guy friend stood in shock. I asked the guy questions and he said after 1961 cars are easy but older have real metal, not cheap light stuff.

All I know is the insurance company must be crapping their pants. IF they had insurance but if not, who do you sue? Money won't make up for the loss of life and what lessons will you teach the guys who flee to Pakistan? Even if caught, death penalty aside, there's no satisfaction here. If they get $100 million in cash, will it make up for the loss?
