But you do not have scientific proof, do you? You accept it because it is what you have been told. It is part of you and you do not need to question it.
That is what personal history and family history is all about.
Warren was told by her family that she is part Cherokee and she had no more reason to doubt it than you do. And again, there is nothing wrong with being proud of your heritage no matter what it is.
