I remember Cat Scratch Fever. He's an awesome guitar player but his speeches, grandstanding and ego push people away. I saw him in '91 with The Cars and Tavares at Boston Grden. He dazzled and fired everyone up until he stopped to lecture about the dangers of Mary Jane. People walked out everyone was booing him.
He never made it big as he didn't push singles. Singles lead to album sales and tours.
Hall of Fame? Wango Tango was good but I think others deserve it more. He wasn't that big for long, his guitar skills weren't unique and his sales didn't reach the moon.
I'd rather see Bob Seger & The a Silver Bullet Band
