Yeah, that's the thing. I know i am conservative in my thinking. I know you are more liberal in your thinking and we both know the other see's things differently. You've never tried to tell me that the way i see things is wrong. I (to my knowledge) have never done that either. We're supposed to have various viewpoints. That's how issues can be looked at from all sides and that's how the middle ground is defined. Now these turds have went right to just screaming hateful shit and calling people racist to shout down any sort of discussion and it's very vile behavior in my opinion and seriously corrosive and destructive to a society to not only have zero respect for differing views, but to vilify someone as being truly evil for having differing views.
And like you said, these are also the same people who will lecture you all day long about how tolerant and accepting they are as they spew hate and intolerance and jump right to shouting you down with vicious slurs rather than articulating an actual point that makes sense.
