we needed cognitive heuristics to protect us back when we were inventing fire and the wheel, but now I see it as a hindrance to human existence. Difference need not be scary, it's just different. Someone or something that grants an opportunity to learn something new.
People are people and I love them and really think we should as a species celebrate our shared existence as it is very fucking fleeting. Not asking for utopia, just for those who can-be kind to those you meet

can you imagine what I would have missed out on if I judged her just on her appearance?
