Breaking up sucks. Especially when you actually love the person. Right now, you are using coping mechanisms. Coping mechanisms can be extremely medicating, but you are vulnerable right now so if they are not managed properly, bad things could happen. Not preaching, just friendly advice from someone who has been there before.

When i turned 30, I was depressed as hell about it. By the time I was 35 I started to tell myself, "Hey, at least I'm not 45." Now, I am 45.. I tell myself.. "Hey, at least I am not 55".
What does that have to do with a breakup? Well, its the way you look at things.
You already have another girlfriend. You just haven't met her yet.
Right now, you got some free time for yourself to do whatever the fuck you want. And you will miss it someday, and regret you didn't take the time to enjoy it to it's full extent.
