I was extremely negative about 2257 and fought hard against it. I had a site against it, met with one of Kennedy's reps, published against it. I felt proof of age was enough to provide but all producers and distributors had to, by law, keep those documents in the office of their attorney only. No copies in their office or home that could be stolen.
Finally, the courts are recognizing the overreaching being done because of Tracy. One company not being careful left an industry exposed.
I'm remembering an idea I had back then to make this safer. It's still plausible but I've lost contact with the movie producers I knew then. Someday, I'll find the right person to approach about this. For a small investment .... Ah, the good old days when ideas were there and remembered
