I'm sorry that happened to you. You're doing what you can to cope. But you have to be prepared for when it gets worse.
Worse, you ask? Yes. Because sooner or later, she'll try to get back with you. Because whoever she's become involved with most likely considers her a fling, not long-term. You're going to be vulnerable because of what you're going through, and you may very well accept her back.
Thing is, if you do that, you're giving her the eternal right to do the same thing to you again and again. Can you handle going what you're going through now, over and over?
Don't wait for her to come crawling back to you to move on. Just find someone else, the sooner the better. Or maybe you don't have a place in your life for more drama right now, so just be single for a while.
Its a rough road ahead of you. Be strong. Throw yourself into your work to keep your mind off things.
