Good stuff that pretty much proves that man does have an effect on the environment which in turn has an effect on climate.
If the dust bowl of the 30's didn't convince you of that, or if the clean up of the Smog and air pollution starting in the early 70's did not convince you, well then you probably won't be convinced by this either.
We know that the planet has a tremendous ability to heal itself if given the chance. The discovery of the damage that CFCs (used as a propellant in sprays predominantly) were damaging the Ozone layer and subsequently causing damage to the planet and the inhabitants of the planet led to the outlawing of CFCs in the 70's.
Since then the Ozone layer has been re-growing approximately 1-3% per decade. By the 2060's it should be completely healed.
Now, if we can only get some common sense going in relation to the CO2 production and the ongoing human influences on the environment and climate, maybe humans will still exist here in a 1000 years or so. We can only hope, ya know?

WASHINGTON (AP) — Earth’s protective ozone layer is finally healing from damage caused by aerosol sprays and coolants, a new United Nations report said.
The ozone layer had been thinning since the late 1970s. Scientists raised the alarm and ozone-depleting chemicals were phased out worldwide.
As a result, the upper ozone layer above the Northern Hemisphere should be completely repaired in the 2030s and the gaping Antarctic ozone hole should disappear in the 2060s, according to a scientific assessment released Monday at a conference in Quito, Ecuador. The Southern Hemisphere lags a bit and its ozone layer should be healed by mid-century.
