Vaccines only work when everyone gets them. It's because of anti-vaxxers that we have the re-emergence of things like polio, mumps, measles, etc. Because some anti-vax parent is an asshole, Melissa caught whooping cough when it went around our kids school. Honest mistake as an adult to have missed a booster shot. Now every time she gets sick her lungs are awful for 3-6 months afterwards.
