Four branches of government people as 3 are controlled by Republicans. Trump is going to pull a Regan and veto the shit out anything they bring. That said, the Dems needed to take the house and Senate to make any real changes. They failed.
The Dems are shooting themselves in the foot because the only thing they can bring for the next 2 years is more rhetoric about Russian collision etc. This is getting old and tiresome and it will cost them, greatly after the second term.
Personally, glad of the SC changes as this is without a doubt, what truly saved the future of America.

Republicans lost 6 state Governors.. They lost 27 seats in the House on top of the 30+ they lost after 2016 in special elections..
The only wins Republicans had was a net gain of 2 seats in the Senate and somehow in their fanastyland of unicorns and Nazis on rainbows they think this was some Red Wave..
We should stop calling them "the deplorables" and call them "the fucking delusionals"..
To add insult to injury Democrats picked up 17 seats in Texas state house..
