is it a widescreen tv purchased in the last 15 years?
assuming yes, it’s got at least one hdmi input.
get the tv remote, and look for dedicated button netflix or a generic apps button, or in the menu.
if it’s not a smart tv there are hundreds of options for getting netflix.
apple tv being my favorite. but if a roku is out of your price range and apple tv will definitely be as well. fire stick is probably a better option for you.
if for some god forsaken reason your tv only has one hdmi input and it’s being used for your cable box, get an hdmi switch.
and of course the tv if smart, or the device yo get will require a network connection, so make sure you’re hard-wired or know the wifi password.
as for your headphone requirement.. you can buy extensions of any length on amazon on the cheap. but good luck finding a headphone jack on most tvs... and the bluetooth options are generally laggy garbage.
you can buy a headphone jack to rca jumper to use the analog audio out most tvs have. but then you have no control over volume since that output is meant to be amplified.. unless you buy a headphone amp... which you can get on az also for like 40 bucks.
