As AzteK points out, these tactics only associate a signup with the ‘overlay affiliate’ if the user was an anonymous, non-affiliated visitor. If an affiliate brings a new user to Chaturbate, they would receive credit since they were cookied first, even if the user clicks on the ‘overlay affiliate’ signup button.
