Matter of fact Visa/Mastercard explicitly prohibit retailers from requiring an ID to accept a properly signed card.

They're supposed to check your ID. They used to always check twenty or so years ago. Casinos still check. But yeah, I haven't had other places check in quite a while. Nevertheless, you're just distracting from the fact that we need ways to crack down on illegal voters.
