Obviously there are nuances to learn, like brand restrictions and gated items, but there are hundreds of free Facebook groups you can join to learn.
When you get your feet wet there you can scale up by learning wholesale arbitrage. People think that Amazon sells everything, but there are literally millions of items that are not available for sale yet on Amazon, and there are tricks to finding items that are searched for regularly but aren't listed.
If you want to scale up from there you can learn private label selling, although that could be risky if we end up in a trade war with China. Or you can find companies with unique products that don't sell on Amazon yet and negotiate a partnership. There are literally infinite possibilities. If you can't make six figures a year off Amazon you probably shouldn't be selling online...

Clearance racks in America?
With 100K I would be on Alibaba or the crazier B2B version and buying things for pennies on the dollar and then selling them on Amazon. How do you think Amazon gets so much shit? Ebay works as well.
But... I would go half'zies on a bar with a local who is looking to run one. Granted he or she knows what they are doing. Passive income and possible franchise if your concept is well recepted.
Otherwise look around at local small sized ventures where people need $50K to get to the next level and perhaps somebody a little more business oriented than they are. So much money to be made offline.
