You are letting your liberal hate fog your brain. There wasn't a blue tidal wave, but there was no doubt there was a wave. The estimated 37 house seats they are going to gain is the best they have done since the 1970's (they gained 32 against G.W. Bush) but you have to go back to 1974 for them to have done better.
