I couldn't disagree with you more.
Right now the biggest problem we seem to have here locally is housing. We have thousands of people without homes. I am eighty miles away, we have only one hotel, and it's completely taken over by victims of the fire. Beale Air Force Base is between me and the fire - it's where Trump flew in on Saturday.... Why can't we fly in a company of soldiers with military trucks full of huge tents and blankets and food?
We can deploy federal troops to string up concertina wire for an invasion that is not coming, and we can put up tent cities for children we've taken away from parents, but we can't deploy our own troops to set up tents and cook for thousands of people who lost their houses and everything they own in a fire?
