Cali is best compared to AUS as the drought conditions bring similar issues
, hence why hundreds of firefighters from USA come to Aus every year to help us, and hundreds from Aus go and help in USA,
We haven't had liberal government in 20 Years.. All the under growth here is burned off the as raking does fuck all due to the size and is only feasible in VERY limited situations.
Sadly even though we have extensive fire management we know this year like every year homes and lives will be lost. If you add a 80mph wind to any fire your in for a catastrophic scenario
Even Grape should of learned that, problem was not so much the fire but the wind, had of there been no wind.. Situation is more easy to contain and people have more time to react.
