Illegal migration has been going on for decades but no President has met it full on. Even though it effects so many areas, unemployment, education, housing, healthcare, policing, etc.
A campaign of strict enforcement of illegals employment rules decades ago with harsh fines or confiscation or prison would have stemmed illegal migration. Fines to meet the costs of finding companies, deporting illegals, then judging and fining the guilt companies, making the cost of doing the job nothing.
But so Presidents have done little to nothing and even encouraged illegal migration by amnesty to illegals.
Why do you think that is?
