People need to believe in this bullshit to bring meaning to their lives. Instead of trying to find actual answers or take responsibility for anything that ails them they come up with unexplainable paradigms whether that is religion, fantasy or, in this case, incorrect astronomical alignments based on outdated practices.

You may as well pretend dragons and Thor are real and are effecting your life on a daily basis. At least their books are interesting.
