Well it depends what the feed back is. If they said you refused the return and told them to sell it yourself then I can see them letting that stand.
You probably fucked your self by telling them to sell it theirselves. Best to just leave it as straight and simple no returns in your communications. Just restate what your add says. Soon as you start deviating from what the add says it gives them room to get away with shit..
Keep in mind, I'm not saying you are in the wrong but you always have to be very careful with communicating with buyers on ebay because they can use that against you.
If they lied in the fed back you can maybe pick apart their review and get it removed saying it wasn't accurate.
Edit.. as far as returns.. if it's a new item, I'd make it a policy of no returns on "open" boxes but allow returns if the box is unopened.
Then make them take a picture of the unopened box prior to being returned. Maybe even state that in the return policy.
