I tried everything under the sun with mine. I finally raised enough hell and the Microsoft Store replaced it. That was about 18 months ago. I just had to replace the battery as 4 out of the 6 cells were enlarged, total fire hazard. Dell refused to do anything about it. "Out of warranty."
