In the past, I've had inexplicable BSODs that turned out to be something I wouldn't have considered. The PSU on my desktop was slowly failing, due to capacitors bulging. This, in turn, fucked up the motherboard over time due to irregular or inconsistent voltage. There was nothing to indicate any of this was even happening. Except for those occasional, inexplicable BSODs.
If you're able to peek at your notebook's motherboard, see if there's any capacitors leaking from the top. They'd look something like this.
