there will be almost 10 billion humans in 20 years time...in the last 20 years, the exploitation of raw materials (iron, aluminium, copper etc) has tripled and it is safe to say that it will at least double in the next 20 years...by 2050 we will generate 5x the waste we do today...with ever expanding mass production, goods are becoming cheaper and cheaper we will easily reach record levels of pollution each year...
whether we need to take urgent action to protect the environment we live in is not even up for discussion...whether climate change is caused by man or not is practically irrelevant...mankind gets fucked either way by the climate, but this is only a part of the problem...pollution and unsustainable exploitation of resources are still very real...stepping out of the paris climate agreement was a dumb move, the actual cause of global warming is a non issue...
